Recently, we caught up with our friend Lukas Nelson for his concert at Joy Theater in New Orleans. While on stage, Lukas rocked a custom Shoals Denim Shirt that was chain stitched by local Florence artisan, Olivia Sherif.

The pelican embroidery was a nod to a previous conversation Lukas and Billy had about Billy and his mother’s favorite animal, but also it’s Louisiana’s state bird. It’s a motif that we’re proud of and it shows up in a lot of our designs, but we think it’s pretty cool when it shows up on stage, too.
